Classes
Boxing from your first jab to sparring, kickboxing and boxing fitness. Every class shows the punch numbers it uses, so you can see where you fit.
How the numbers work
Coaches call combinations by number so the whole room can follow at once. Odd numbers are thrown with your lead hand, even numbers with your rear hand. Defence and kicks are called by name.
One-two: jab, cross. The first combination everybody learns.
Jab, cross, lead hook, then slip the counter.

Questions about classes
I have never boxed. Where do I start?
In Fundamentals. Your first class is free, we lend you gloves and wraps, and there is no contact with other people.
Do I have to spar?
No. Sparring is a separate class, by invitation from a coach, and many members never do it.
Am I fit enough?
You do not need to be fit to start. Coaches change the rounds for you, and you can rest whenever you need to.
What should I bring?
Trainers, comfortable clothes and a water bottle. Buy your own wraps after a few weeks; they cost a few dollars.
