How we measure
Every piece is laid flat on the counter and measured with a soft tape, in centimetres, the day it arrives.
Measure something you already love
Our numbers only help if you compare like with like. Pick a piece that fits you well and measure it the way we do, with a soft tape, in centimetres.
1
Lay it flat
Button or zip it up and lay it face up on a table. Smooth it out without pulling.
2
Length (A)
From the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.
3
Chest (B)
Across the front, from one armpit seam to the other, 2 cm below the armhole.
4
Sleeve or inside leg (C)
Along the top of the sleeve from the shoulder seam to the cuff; for trousers, from the crotch seam to the hem.
5
Hem (D)
Straight across the bottom edge. Write the four numbers down and compare them with ours.
Measuring trousers
Trousers take four numbers. Lay them flat with the front facing up, the waistband straight and the legs side by side.
Brook wide-leg trousers
