A small open kitchen on Alder Street
Alder Street Kitchen (sample) is forty seats, four cooks and a takeaway hatch by the side door. We cook what is in season and make almost everything ourselves.

Cooked here, from the start
We opened in a former bakery in 2016 (sample) and kept the old oven for the bread. The menu is short so that everything on it is cooked fresh, every service.
Takeaway started as a favour to neighbours and is now half of what we cook. It comes from the same kitchen and the same cooks as the dining room.
How we cook
Three habits that decide what goes on the menu and how it reaches you.
In season, close by
Vegetables from two farms and a market, meat from one butcher, fish from the coast twice a week (sample).
Made in this kitchen
Bread, stocks, sauces, pickles and ice cream. We buy in the wine, the coffee and the cheese.
Allergies taken seriously
Every note you give us is printed on the ticket, in red, for the cook who makes your food.
The back room
A room of its own for up to twenty, with its own table and a view of the kitchen hatch. Choose a set menu or the full menu.
