Writers who start by listening
Larkhill Content (sample) is a small agency of editors and writers in Springfield. We turn what you already know into articles, newsletters and clips your customers actually read.

From newsroom habits to client work
Two of us spent ten years on a regional paper, where every story started with a conversation and ended with a sub-editor’s pencil (sample). We still work that way.
We have never written a word for a client we did not interview first. That is the whole method: listen, draft, mark what is worth repeating, and cut it to fit each place your customers look.
How we write
Four rules every editor here follows, on every piece.
Your words first
We quote you and your customers before we reach for our own phrasing. Readers can tell.
One source, checked
Every fact comes from the interview or a source we can name. If we are unsure, we ask.
Plain sentences
Short paragraphs, everyday words, the terms your customers use rather than trade jargon.
Nothing goes out unsigned
You see and approve every piece before it is published, including the short ones.
