The ringed doors are the six workshop days. Every other day the workshop hut is open for hot drinks.

Workshops in the warm hut
Twelve places at each table, materials and a cup of hot apple punch included. Children under 12 come with an adult, who can join in or watch.

Paper lanterns
Fold and glue a paper lantern with a tea-light holder, then carry it on the lantern walk. Age 6 and up with an adult.

Gingerbread houses
Build and ice a small gingerbread house to take home in a box. One house for up to two people.

Beeswax candles
Roll three candles from sheets of local beeswax and wrap them as a gift. Age 8 and up.

Questions about workshops
Do I need to book?
Yes. Each table has twelve places and they usually go a week ahead. Book with the form on the Visit page; you pay at the hut on the day.
Can my child come on their own?
Children under 12 come with an adult. The adult can make something too (with their own place) or watch from the bench.
What should we wear?
The hut is heated, but bring a layer you do not mind getting icing or wax on.
Can we book a workshop for a group?
Yes, on weekday mornings for schools, clubs and offices. Ask the workshops desk for a date.
