A party shop on Orchard Street
Moonrise Costume and Party (sample) has filled balloons and dressed Springfield for parties since 2011, in a narrow shop with a costume floor upstairs.
Our story
The shop opened as a Halloween pop-up with one rail of capes and a helium tank borrowed from a friend. People kept coming back in November for birthday balloons, so the pop-up never closed (sample).
Halloween is still the busiest six weeks of our year. The rest of the time we dress proms, office parties, hen nights and every kind of birthday.
Things that last past one party
We buy costumes you can wear again, paint that is kind to skin and decorations that fold flat for next year.
- Face paint and glitter made for skin, with the ingredients on the label
- No licensed characters: our own costumes, and help putting a look together
- Foil balloons refilled for half price when you bring them back (sample)
