Questions about permits

Can I reuse soil from my own site?

Often yes, without a permit, if it is suitable and there is a plan for it agreed before the work. We write the plan and keep the records.

Do I need a consent to pump water out of an excavation?

If the water goes to a drain or stream it may need one. We check the volume and the quality and apply if needed.

How long does a permit take?

From a few weeks for an exemption to several months for a full permit, so start early (sample).

Send us the site address

We check the old maps and the planning record before we reply, so the quote fits the site. Most quotes go out within two working days (sample).
