Websites for small organisations, planned page by page
Pinecroft Web Studio (sample) designs, builds and looks after websites for libraries, shops, clinics and local charities. Every project starts with a sitemap you approve, so you know the size, the price and the date before we design anything.

What we build
Four kinds of project, each with a fixed price once the sitemap is approved. Prices include design, build, launch and training.
Brochure websites
Five to fifteen pages that explain who you are, what you offer and how to reach you. Easy for your team to edit.
Online shops
WooCommerce shops for up to a few hundred products, with card payments, delivery zones and stock that updates itself.
Booking sites
Room hire, appointments and classes: visitors pick a time, you get an email, nobody plays phone tag.
Care and hosting
Updates, daily backups, uptime checks and small edits every month, for sites we built and sites we did not.
Example prices.

How a project runs
Eight weeks for a typical brochure site, in six steps. You see the work at the end of every step and nothing moves on until you approve it.
1
Discovery call
Week 1
What the site has to do, who visits it, and what is on the old site that must not get lost.
2
Sitemap
Weeks 1 to 2
Every page in one tree. You approve it before any design starts, so the size and the price are fixed.
3
Wireframes
Weeks 2 to 3
Plain grey layouts of the key pages: what goes where, before colours and photos get in the way.
4
Design
Weeks 3 to 5
Your colours, type and photos on the wireframes. Two rounds of changes are included.
5
Build
Weeks 5 to 7
WordPress and Elementor on a private test address you can click through on your own phone.
6
Launch and training
Week 8
We move the site live, redirect the old addresses and show your team how to edit every page.

Questions before a project
How much does a website cost?
Most of our brochure sites cost between $2,400 and $6,000; shops and booking sites more (example prices). The sitemap fixes the price: once you approve it, the price does not change unless the sitemap does.
Can we edit the site ourselves?
Yes. Every page is built with Elementor, and launch day includes a training session for your team. Most clients change their own text and photos from the first week.
Do you write the words?
We edit what you have and write short pages from your notes. For larger sites, our content editor rewrites the old copy page by page (quoted separately).
What happens to our old site and its search ranking?
We list every old address before we start and redirect each one to its new page on launch day, so links and bookmarks keep working.
Who owns the website?
You do: the domain, the hosting account if you want it, the content and the files. We hand over every login on launch day.
