Clean studio
What happens at the station before you sit down, and after you leave.
A clean station, every time
Single-use needles, ink in caps, fresh barrier film and a wiped-down bed for every client.
- Needle cartridges opened in front of you
- Gloves changed whenever they touch anything else
- Studio licence on the wall by the desk (sample)

Setting up a station
The same five steps before every client, in this order.
1
Wipe down
Bed, armrest, tray and lamp wiped with hospital-grade disinfectant.
2
Barrier film
Machine, cord, bottles and lamp handle wrapped in fresh film for each client.
3
Open in front of you
Needle cartridges and tubes come sealed and are opened when you are in the chair.
4
Ink in caps
Ink is poured into single-use caps, never dipped from the bottle.
5
Sharps out
Used needles go straight into the sharps box; everything else into clinical waste.
