Hygiene and tools
How every tool is cleaned between clients, and what is never used twice.

Clean tools, every client
Every metal tool goes through the same four steps before it touches your hands again.
1
Washed
Metal tools are scrubbed in hot soapy water straight after your visit.
2
Disinfected
They soak for the full contact time in a hospital-grade disinfectant.
3
Sterilised
Sealed in a pouch and run through the autoclave; the strip on the pouch changes colour.
4
Opened at your desk
Your technician opens the pouch in front of you. Files and buffers are new and go home with you.
New for every client
Anything that cannot go in the autoclave is used once. Files and buffers go home with you, so you can keep a gel set tidy between visits.
- Nail files and buffers
- Orange sticks and cotton pads
- Pedicure liners in the foot spa
- Towels, washed at 60°C
