Calder Cleaning and Laundry (sample) has cleaned homes and small offices in Springfield since 2012, and added laundry pickup when customers kept asking about the ironing.
Same cleaner, same checklist
We started with two cleaners and one car (sample). Today a team of fourteen cleans about two hundred homes and offices a week, and two vans run the laundry route.
Most of our customers have had the same cleaner for years. When someone is on holiday, the cover cleaner works from your job sheet, so nothing has to be explained twice.
The cloth code
Every cleaner carries four colours of microfibre cloth and uses each one in one place only. Cloths are washed hot after every visit.
Blue cloth
Used for living areas, bedrooms and the hall.
Green cloth
Used for the kitchen.
Yellow cloth
Used for basins, baths and tiles.
Red cloth
Used for toilets, and nothing else.
How we choose and train cleaners
Every cleaner is employed by us, not sent by an agency, and paid for travel time between homes.

- Keys stored coded, never labelled with your address

Products we use
Refillable bottles, plant-based cleaners for everyday work, and stronger products only where they are needed: limescale, ovens and toilets.
- We bring every product and all equipment
- Unscented products on request, for allergies or pets
- Your own products are fine too; leave them out with a note
