A barber shop on Corbett Street
Corbett Street Barbers (sample) has cut hair on the same corner for twelve years: four chairs, a waiting bench and the radio on low.

Four chairs and a bench
Dev opened the shop with one chair and a second-hand mirror (sample). Today four barbers work here, two chairs take walk-ins and two take bookings, so nobody waits long and regulars still get their own barber.
We cut short hair, fades, scissor cuts and beards for men, women and kids. If you know your guard number, say it; if you don’t, we will find it with you.
How walk-ins work
No app and no ticket machine: a board by the door and a bench to wait on.
1
Write your name on the board
Add what you are having, so we know how long the wait is.
2
Take a seat
Coffee and water are on the side. A skin fade takes about 45 minutes.
3
We call your name
You get the next free walk-in chair, or the barber you asked for when they are free.
4
Pay at the chair
Card or cash. Tips are shared by the whole shop.
Clean tools, every client
Between every client the chair is brushed down, the clippers and guards are sprayed and the combs go into the jar.
- Single-use razor blades and neck strips
- Combs in disinfectant for ten minutes between clients
- Capes and towels washed hot every day
