What happens on the day
We rewire a few rooms at a time, so you keep power in the rest of the house. Openings in walls are patched ready for paint, and the panel is labelled when we finish.
Signs the wiring is due
Knob-and-tube or aluminum wiring, cloth-covered cables, two-prong outlets everywhere and fuses instead of breakers. Insurers often ask about all of them.
