A two-bay studio with good lights
Fenwick Detail Works (sample) is a small detailing studio in Canal Yard. One car per bay, one person responsible for it from drop-off to hand-over.

Why we work indoors
Swirls hide in bright sun and in a dim garage alike. Our bays have colour-matched lamps on the walls and on stands, filtered water for the last rinse and heating for coatings to cure.
We started in 2016 with a mobile van (sample). The studio came when customers asked for correction work that needs a clean, dry room and two days of patience.
What every car gets
- A paint depth reading on every panel before a polisher touches it
- Inspection lamps at 5,000 K and 6,500 K, so swirls cannot hide
- Dual-action and rotary polishers, with pads matched to soft or hard paint
- Fresh, washed microfibre for every car, sorted by job
- pH-neutral shampoo and a filtered last rinse, so no water spots
Products are chosen for your paint and finish, not for a brand deal.
Who looks after your car
Three people, each with their own part of the job. The person who books your car in hands it back.

What we will not do
- Polish a panel that measures too thin: we tell you and suggest a lighter finish
- Spray dressing on pedals, the steering wheel or the brake discs
- Put your car through brushes or dry it with a used towel
- Promise that a scratch will go before the test spot shows it
Bring the car in for a paint check
Twenty minutes under the lamp, a reading on every panel and a test spot if you want one. No charge, no obligation (sample).
