A small decor shop on Wicker Lane
Wicker Lane Home (sample) opened in 2016 in a former haberdasher’s. We sell pieces for shelves, sideboards and windowsills, and we help you put them together.

Two long shelves and a counter
We started with two shelves of pots from makers we knew and a counter for wrapping. Today the shop stocks lamps, vases, cushions, baskets and mirrors from about forty small makers and workshops (sample).
We still style the window every Monday, and the set in the window is the set on our home page.
How we choose what goes on the shelf
We say no to most things. A piece comes into the shop when it passes four checks.
Useful in a small room
Most of our customers live in flats and terraced houses, so most pieces are under 60 cm.
Made in small batches
We buy from potters, weavers and workshops we can phone, and we tell you where each piece was made.
Measured and labelled
Every piece is measured in the shop and the height goes on the label and the website.
Works with something else
Before a piece goes on sale, we try it in a set with two things already on the shelves.
