A small studio that starts on a wall
Hatchworks (sample) has made campaigns and identities for theatres, food halls, colleges and charities in Springfield since 2014.

Why every project starts with sticky notes
We started as two designers who were tired of guessing what a client wanted. The first workshop was in a borrowed church hall with a pack of notes and a roll of dot stickers (sample).
It worked because everyone could see the same wall: what customers said, every idea, and how the room voted. We still start every project that way.
The people at your workshop
The same people run the workshop and make the work. Nobody hands you over.

How we work, in four sentences
Your team is in the room when the idea is chosen, so nobody is surprised by it later.
We show you a few routes, never twenty, and say which one we would pick and why.
Prices are fixed before we start; if the job grows, we tell you first.
You get the files, the fonts in your name and a page that says how to use them.
Working here
We hire one or two people a year, usually a designer or a producer. We read every portfolio, and we answer every application within three weeks (sample).
Bring the problem. We bring the notes.
Tell us what is going on and when it has to be out. We reply within two working days with a date for a first call (sample).
