Most lost wallets we hear about had a backup: a paper with a missing word, two words swapped, or handwriting nobody could read a year later (sample note).
The drill rebuilds your wallet from the paper on a practice screen. Nothing moves; you only learn whether the copy works.
Nobody genuine will ever ask for your recovery words: not support, not a friend, not a bank, not us.
